Sequence

The job drawn left to right: what waits on what, and what can start today.

Reading the board

Pick a part of the property. Each column is a step in the chain. The first column is everything with nothing in front of it, which is the work that can be got on with today. Each column after that is what the one before it unlocks. Work in the same column can happen at the same time.

A red circle with a line through it marks work that cannot start yet because something before it is unfinished. A shaded order has not arrived: red when nothing says it is coming, amber when a date has been given. A green tick marks finished work.

Linking

  1. Press the arrow on the card that has to come first.
  2. Click the card it holds up.

To remove a link, hover the line so it turns red, click it, and confirm. Every link added or removed is written to the change log.

The plus on a task card raises a new task that waits on it, in the same room.

Arranging

Drag a card up or down to tidy the picture. It snaps to a column and cannot be dropped where it would contradict its own links. The arrangement is saved for everybody. Tidy puts every card back where the layout wants it.

Lines that cross more than one column are hidden until you hover a card at either end. Pills across the top hide orders, finished work and the blocked marks, and open the board full screen.
